Personal Transformation
Through Movement, Myth, Dreams & Symbols
The purpose of the six-month training is a deep immersion into innovative
movement techniques that energetically rewire the neurophysiology. The movement
sets the stage for physical grounding and the heart centered energy that fuels
the law of attraction. Through movement, dream interpretation, the imagery of
the tarot and the group dynamic, we explore the basic concepts of cultural and
personal mythology, which block access to full self-actualization.
We visit your inner ghosts, demons, guides and shaman, then release and
demystify the dysfunctional mythologies of your language, culture and ancestors.
The class meets once a week, for four hours on Sunday afternoon, with an all-day
Saturday class every six weeks. This weekly deep immersion with two hours of
movement and two hours of the group energy dynamic, is the key to regrooving the
nervous system and sustaining new awareness. This is a process of stopping the
dysfunctional mythology; from which everything changes for the better.
Video Holo-Therapy,™ is a psychointegrator. This is a step beyond traditional
therapy and every other strategy or process, as it uses movement and video as a
diagnostic and therapeutic tool. The movement reveals the personal mythology,
the camera reveals the truth, as how you do anything is how you do everything.
Your physical posture reflects your psychological posture as well as your personal mythic
structure.
The video component of the process allows you to see the truth of how you
occur in space and time. The video, along with the in session intuitive
feedback, is the basis for what we call the "Communication Model of
Healing," as the truth revealed energetically through movement, heals self
and others. The movement diagnostics and Video Holo-Therapy™ were developed by
Karl Wolfe, over a period of 25 years, studying human consciousness, and is a
convergence of ancient movement techniques, teachings from the secret mystery
schools, the esoteric traditions and the masters of India and China; updated and
presented in a contemporary format.

A Conceptual Framework for Your Personal Mythology
We see the world as we are, not as it is. Most believe fantasy is reality. If
we are identified with one or more mythic structures; that is the fantasy, the
filter through which we view the world.
As children, each of us is filled with impulses, aptitudes, uncertainties,
ideas memories, needs, fears, and longings. We all depend on models from the
outer world to help organize this highly active interior landscape, to give
ourselves direction in life. Those who touch us emotionally influence this inner
organization. We consciously and unconsciously mimicked those to whom we were
most strongly repulsed by or drawn to.
A young boy may be drawn to a cultural hero who appears to be brave and
strong, in his desire to manifest the ideals of courage and strength. His father
may be weak and ineffectual, so he may look to someone he can admire who is
different from this as possible. The young boy will internalize a specific
model, which guides his activities, and against which he measures himself.
Unconsciously he’ll compare the image of a functional hero with his own
life. Until he begins to act and behave according to the internalized image. He
may act tough, brave, or independent, and then feel affirmed for having lived up
to his expectation or not. The qualities of behavior he associates with being
functional, provide a reference point for his internal map of his personal
world.
Once an image is incorporated, it is invisible and he is controlled by it. If
he finds himself in a threatening situation, he may feel fearful and uncertain,
however, the internalized image of the brave hero prohibits such feelings and he
represses or denies them. He may become ruthlessly aggressive attempting to
defeat the fears that are in contradiction to his internalized self-image of a
hero. Unnamed myths continually influence us even though we are unaware that
they’re running in the background.
Even as we adopt myths of our culture, they are continually being rewritten
and updated. A personal mythology is often organized around several mythic
images. Our sensibilities determine what we’re attracted to or repelled by
emotionally. We flounder until we find models or invent models that work for us.
Because we are myth makers by nature, we take whatever is available to us as raw
materials from the culture at hand.
Now, in many cultures, what was once a diverse culture filled with heroic and
functional images, is now filled with violent images from the media, generating
a new personal and cultural mythology, imagery that is dysfunctional,
impoverished, highly transient, and disempowering.
In the Intensive we explore five stages of personal mythological development;
the evolution of your personal myths:
We identify underlying mythic conflict in what appears as a personal problem,
pattern, or concern.
- We examine both sides of the conflict, which leads to integration and
understanding the root of the myth.
- You author a new mythic vision that integrates the most vital aspects of
the old myth and the emerging mythology.
- You redefine your mythic vision and make a conscious choice to live from
the new structure.
- You design and energetically live from a new map, consciously creating
your new mythology.
Everything you do bears the mythic signature of the society within which you
were raised. We learn the language of our ancestors. Language carries myths, and
so we are predisposed to take on the myths of our family and culture bound to
that language. Institutions, schools, all forms of media and advertising leave
cultural imprints, institutional templates that help structure the imagery of
the child’s developing mythology.
Even though you may feel your actions are spontaneous and natural everything
you do is influenced by your family and culture. How you eat, how you dress, how
you view reality, how you take in the data of your surroundings, whether it is
easy for you to accumulate wealth and possessions or to live a physically,
emotionally, and materially impoverished life.
What may seem strange to an outsider is accepted within a culture without
question. The actions carry the meanings that render them perfectly sensible
within the logic of the local mythology. The guiding myths within contemporary
culture are often quite distorted, fractured, and confusing, they are much less
easy to distinguish than the elaborate stories and exotic tribal rituals of our
ancestors.
Myths operating in modern societies have a tendency to support material
progress and control over nature, rather than the appreciation of the natural
cycles of nature that characterize traditional mythologies.
A primary role of myths has been to carry the traditions of the past to the
present. Thereby, a cultures accumulated knowledge and wisdom are brought
forward to each generation. The guiding values of prior generations are often
useless in dealing with contemporary issues. In a world with almost immediate
communication there is no single unifying force powerful enough to bind together
the myriad and contrasting mythologies people encounter.
Your attitudes and values quite likely are very different from those of your
neighbors, something unimagined in tribal cultures. Rather than following
well-established beliefs, family codes or outmoded cultural images, we are
called upon to participate in the constant realigning and updating of the myths
we follow. The future possibilities are limitless, it is up to you what
structures and values you choose to design and manifest.

Happy and Successful!
There is before Karl and after Karl. No money, never a relationship and
years of searching for happiness, and now happy and successful in all areas of
life; business, personal and relationship.
Rex R.
Now I have a Wonderful Life!
Whenever I talk about personal development I always say that I’ve never
heard of anyone being "cured" by a shrink ... The most development I’ve
had is with your classes and with your Intensive Life Training.
Deep down inside I knew there was something wrong and wanted to change. I
realized I made lots of money, I could do whatever I wanted, but I was not
happy and not capable of finding happiness or a companion. After the Intensive
and working with you, I am happily married with a beautiful wife and child. We
now live in a beautiful home in Monaco. Thank you for my life.
Marco C.
I had the limitations of cerebral palsy!
This work is amazing; my body has changed more for the better in 3 months
of working in this program than in years of doctors, surgeries and therapy.
There is a time in your life where you have to – get out the boat so you can
walk on water – if you’re ready for that, this is for you."
Trivan L.
I had done every training there is without change!
Having done many varieties of personal growth, I can say with confidence
that Dr. Karl Wolfe’s Beyond the Edge™ and The Next Step™ are the most
transformative you can find. The catch is that you must truly want to change
your life and give up old patterns. I clung to patterns I didn’t even
recognize, but only saw the results of not getting the money, love, and
fulfillment I knew I wanted. In just a few months of working with Karl, I find
the ways I was making myself suffer fall away every single day. Then seemingly
without effort I am richer, loving every breath of life, and deeply fulfilled
utilizing gifts I didn’t even know I had.
Kathy M.
What does Karl do?
Karl has a unique gift of helping you see what you are really doing and
gives you an opportunity to shift it immediately. Many describe themselves as
feeling emotionally naked in front of Karl because the ways they cause
themselves to suffer are completely apparent in seconds. By utilizing various
kinds of movement, these non-supportive and sometimes self-destructive
patterns become apparent to you and you begin to seem them clearly. Without
any rational explanation, once you can see them you begin to change.
Michael M.
How does the process work?
There is an Observer inside each of us that sees how our Physical,
Emotional, Mental and Spiritual bodies interact and the stories they tell
about how life is "supposed" to be. Karl uses movement therapy in
his techniques called Beyond the Edge™ and The Next Step™. These
techniques give you an opportunity to see how you occur in the world and
without judgment, take it in as data and choose to make a shift in your own
life.
In moments, years of patterning keeping you from the wealth, love,
relationships, and fulfillment that you’ve dreamed of, become available to
you; because you merely stop pushing them away. The "Observer State"
is the most important frame of reference you can have in personal
transformation and connecting to your true-self.

I was inflexible and could not feel my body!
In the Movement Intensive we are guided to do certain movements to
release the myths that control us and are living in our bodies....it's a way
of coming back into the body and becoming who we are rather than the patterns
and myths that play us......this seems to be an important part of the puzzle
as most people are not in their bodies, they are disconnected in many ways,
and don't even know it. It's not about words and understanding, it's about
awareness and feeling while you are in motion. Normally we are all so busy
thinking while we are moving, we are not aware of this disconnect. I’ve done
every workshop there is and I have never had this kind of awareness
before.....again, you discover where the myth is running you as an overlay and
has numbed out various parts of the body, which keep you unconscious and bound
to patterns that no longer serve you.
